Dan and Garrett return with a discussion of Michael Mann's 1981 neo-noir classic, THIEF. Garrett tries to apply some queer theory to Caan's character, Frank and Dan helps him extrapolate that to Mann's vision of masculinity at large by digging into Frank's picture of society, both literal and metaphorical. The boys praise Tangerine Dream's score, Donald E. Thorin's cinematography, and lovable character actor Robert Prosky's turn as formidable gangster, Leo.
